BSS COMPETE IN RUGBY TOURNAMENT   Sat 28th May 2011

BSS Director Matt Bowler encouraged a team of employees to compete in the Hemmingway rugby tournament at Milton Keynes rugby club.

A few training sessions were arranged in preparation for the tournament concentrating on the fitness element firstly then followed by some basic skills training.

“We’re going to Wembley”

Buckinghamshire Scaffolding Specialists Ltd has won the scaffolding and access contract on Fleming's Shubette House job in Wembley.

Donban Contracting who have been awarded the main contract has enlisted BSS to help build Fleming Development's 24 storey, HTA Architects designed  scheme at 5 Olympic Way, which involves a 225-bed hotel, 16,000 sq ft of commercial space, with 195 flats. It is the first significant development in the UK for the Irish group.

BSS Ltd’s Neil Jones to run 2011 London Marathon

Buckinghamshire Scaffolding specialists has its very own marathon man as Operations Co-ordinator Neil Jones competes in the 2011 Flora London Marathon. Keen runner Neil has been training intensely in an effort to achieve his goal of completing the 26.2 mile distance in the impressive time of around 3 hours 15 minutes. In an interesting twist, two days prior to the marathon Neil will be erecting scaffold structures on parts of the route as part of BSS Ltd’s work on the Royal Wedding.
